Max Conrad's Antarctic fly-over - Some interesting philatelic information on Max Conrad's Antarctic Fly-over, which was part of his fly-around-the-world trip in the late 60s passing over both poles.

"Penguin Poop" for the New Millennium! - The story of stamp dealer Glen Stephens celebrating the new Millennium on a Russian icebreaker in the waters of Antarctica. During the trip Glen produced some very interesting covers which are offered for sale on his website.

R.R.S. Ernest Shackleton Position Report #18 (1999/2000 season) contains a short piece by John H.Youle on the Polar Postal History Society of Great Britain. At the time of report #18, PPHSGB Member Terry Lay was on board the Ernest Shackleton as the "Antarctic Postman" to cancel the philatelic mail that had accumulated for Halley and Signy bases. R.R.S. Ernest Shackleton Position Report #20 (1999/2000 season) contains a short report of Terry Lay's activities as BAT Postal Officer.
