If you are interested in collecting postage stamps or other philatelic material
from the circumpolar world, you've come to the right place.
Our members specialize in collecting material from
the Arctic and Antarctic, including anywhere north and south of the 60th parallel of latitude (Alaska, the Canadian
territories, Greenland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland and Russia).
The Polar Philately Mailing List was founded in August 1999 by Michael de Jong from the Netherlands,
and in December 2004 responsibility for the project was assumed by Murray Lundberg from Canada. The project includes
this Web site, and the free Polar Philately Email Discussion List.
The Polar Philately Email Discussion List currently has over 260 members
from around the world, enabling its subscribers to share and exchange information and to discuss topics related to the
collecting or study of philatelic material from the circumpolar world. Please visit the Web site
